Regional Capacity Building Project

The Regional Capacity Building Project aims to build and strengthen the values, skills, systems, processes and abilities of our partners so that they can approach problems in their community more effectively. Our development projects, which are carried out in partnership with the Full Gospel Churches of India (FGCI) and other churches, address a range of socio-economic problems in locations across India. From remote Jaigaon in the north east to bustling Chennai in the south, project partners have to be equipped to face complex and difficult issues with no easy answers. Through comprehensive training programs, seminars and expert visits as well as specific support, we help partners improve crucial areas such as human resource development and organisational development within their projects. We provide them with policies, frameworks and guidelines on how to set up sustainable projects that will continue to have long-term impact on the communities they work with. The Capacity Building project has a direct bearing on the scale and quality of our development projects all over India. The improved capacity of partners to be positive and powerful influences in the communities results in successfully implemented projects which in turn lead to sustained environments and healthy communities.
